Season 33 - Division 3 (out of 8)

Start of season thoughts:
This season I think we will finish outside the relegation zone, whether that it is in mid table or top 2 depends on our start. Having not won a a game last season, we will be chomping at the bit to have a good opening. It should be a strong league this season with 2 Ecko teams, Eastwood Allstars (previously JFK I believe) all within a good chance of promotion. An outside bet maybe Nita Nitros who have risen up through the divisions quietly and I am looking forward to playing them again after 5 years. The last team is the Usual Suspects and like us did not have a good showing in division 2, but there is no reason why either team can't challenge. I am relishing this season and it could go anyway.

End of season thoughts:
This season my prediction was achieved, we finished outside the bottom 2 and managed to gain promotion. This was definitely a season of 2 halves, the first winning 1 and losing 4, being bottom at the half way stage. In the 2nd half we managed 4 wins and 1 draw, the most points of any team. The most impressive result was beating Ecko Whitecaps who have lost 3 in 50 games down their and were previously on a 35 game unbeaten run. Overall a good season, straight back to division 2 at the 1st attempt.
