Season 29 - Division 4 (out of 7)

Start of season thoughts:
This season will be a pivotal season for us, with the 1st promotion at Eastwood. Looking at the teams in the league, although I don't know much about the teams that came down (Portugeezers & Churchills Doubtfires), it looks like they could go down again. The Rookies and Dirty Half Dozen are strong contenders to go up, with the Rookies missing out on the last game of the season. The White Seas are an unknown package, so could go either way. I think that we will remain in this division this season, with the possibility of going up if we put a run of wins together.

End of season thoughts:
At the start of this season, I said that if we put together a run of games, then we could possibly go up. With 4 wins in our opening 5 games, this was the case and we were clear at the top, in fact we were top through out the entire season. The 2nd half of the season was just to ensure that we didn't lose to the teams around us, and a draw against all 3 meant that we didn't lose the advantage that we gained in the early part. The season culminated in a hard earned 1 - 1 draw to win our 1st championship in our 4 ½ year history, well done lads on a great season.
