Season 28 - Division 5 (out of 6)

Start of season thoughts:
I am looking forward to this season, because I think we have a solid foundation to build on and I am away in Spain for 4 or 5 matches. In our last 2 seasons we have scored a combined total of 13 goals, which is not enough if we want to rise up the leagues. The bonus though has been our very tight defence and conceding only 11 goals last season proved that. My aim for this season is to stay in the division, the team to score double figures and for us to finish in a positive goal difference. We could be surprise package this season (hopefully).

End of season thoughts:
At the start of the season I said we could be the surprise package and we were :-). We managed to keep our defensive record fairly decent conceding only 16 goals, but conceding 1 or 0 goals in 7 of the 10 games. With that defensive record and our free scoring form, not only hitting the double figure target, but smashing it (23), everything came together. It was a really successful season for us and we gained our first promotion at Eastwood.
